Athletic Booster Club
The SSA Athletic Booster Club exists to provide parental support to student-athletes as well as the athletic program. The Booster Club sponsors a variety of fundraising activities, including:
Funds raised from these activities are used to support the athletic program, student-athletes and the school in a variety of ways, including:
Anyone interested in joining the Athletic Booster Club Board is encouraged to contact one of the officers.
- Dove Golf Classic
- Poinsettia Sales
- Dove Tennis Tournament (coming soon!)
- Advertising at the athletic complex and the gym
- Booster Club Season Passes
- Volunteers for the Doves' Nest Spirit Store
Funds raised from these activities are used to support the athletic program, student-athletes and the school in a variety of ways, including:
- Uniforms for all LHSAA sports teams
- Athletic team equipment
- Letter jacket patches and athletic award plaques
- Senior Day for various sports
- Support for team post-season events
- Improvements to the Doves' Nest
- Hall of Fame Ceremony
- National Signing Day Assembly
- Concession stand at the athletic complex and the gym
- Funding for the Mary Kathryn Villere scholarship

St. Scholastica Academy is a Catholic, all-girls, college-preparatory high school located in Covington, Louisiana. Founded in 1903, SSA perpetuates the Benedictine tradition of balancing prayer, work, study, and community in developing adolescent girls into Christian women grounded in the Gospel values of the Catholic faith. St. Scholastica Academy is a Catholic girls high school of the Archdiocese of New Orleans. As such it admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities available to students at its schools.
