Founded in 1903 by the Benedictine Sisters, St. Scholastica Academy is located in the heart of Covington, Louisiana and is the only all-girls Catholic High School on the Northshore serving students in grades 8th through 12th. At SSA, our college-preparatory curriculum challenges and inspires young women to reach their full potential. Through a rigorous academic program rooted in Catholic values, students develop intellectual curiosity, confidence, independence, and leadership skills. Our graduates leave the Academy as critical thinkers, compassionate leaders, and lifelong learners prepared to thrive in college and make a meaningful impact on the world.

While our website offers a glimpse into the spirit, traditions, and opportunities that define the SSA experience, there is no substitute for experiencing our community firsthand. We warmly invite prospective students and their families to visit our campus through a private tour, a student visit day, or both.
