Campus Life

School Programs, Student Clubs, & Honor Societies

The Benedictine pillars of “community”, “prayer”, “work”, and “study” can be readily seen at work in SSA’s various programs, clubs, and Honor Societies. Each has been created or established to allow our girls to freely express themselves socially, spiritually, and academically as they grow in sisterhood.

School Programs

Our school programs foster spiritual and individual growth by raising awareness of who each girl is as a daughter of God. As the girls grow, they can bond with their sisters, creating friendships that will last a lifetime.

List of 6 items.

  • Big Sis/Little Sis

Seniors are paired with 8th-grade doves to offer support and guidance. Activities throughout the year include lunches, arts & crafts days, and movie lunches.
  • Doves Serve

Each year the students of SSA go out into the community to serve others. Areas of outreach include children with exceptionalities, those suffering from mental illness and food insecurity, and conservation.
  • Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are Seniors who have been granted permission to distribute Holy Communion to the student body at Masses. Students must apply for this program.
  • Student Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors are “the face” of SSA. Students holding this position are passionate about SSA and the sisterhood that can only be found here. Student Ambassadors assist with various activities and strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment on campus. Students must apply for this program.
  • Student Ministers

Student Ministers serve SSA at Masses and other events. Student Ministers are the “hands and feet of Christ” as they actively live the Benedictine pillars of prayer and community. Students must apply for this program.
  • WingWomen

Juniors are paired with freshman doves to help them as they truly transition into high school. Our WingWomen meet once a month to touch base and offer support.
