Welcome to St. Scholastica Academy!
As the Head of School, it is my honor and privilege to serve the SSA community. Here at the Academy, we pride ourselves on being more than just an all-girls Catholic high school. We are steeped in tradition. We are a family. We are a sisterhood. We are a place where young girls become confident young women ready to make a difference in our community and beyond. Our mascot, the dove, symbolizes the peace and love that we strive to embody in all aspects of our lives guided by St. Scholastica who could “do more because she loved more”.
Rooted in the rich tradition of Benedictine values, our Academy stands firm on the Four Pillars of prayer, work, study, and community. These pillars shape our daily lives, fostering an environment where students grow spiritually, intellectually, and socially. As the only all-girls high school on the Northshore we are dedicated to nurturing the potential within each girl, preparing her to lead with confidence, compassion, and a strong sense of purpose.
Research tells us that the all-girl environment provides the ideal setting for young women to succeed academically, become leaders, discover their gifts, and make strong connections to their fellow sisters. We see that research in action each day at SSA. We strive to create an environment of love, support and respect for all who enter our campus. Our supportive family atmosphere provides our students with a joyful, loving community to call home.
Thank you for visiting our website. We invite you to explore and learn more about the vibrant, supportive, and dynamic community that is St. Scholastica Academy.
In the Spirit of St. Scholastica,
