Welcome

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and learn more about St. Scholastica Academy.  Founded in 1903 by the Benedictine Sisters, the Academy is located in the heart of Covington, Louisiana.  SSA is the only all - girls Catholic High School on the Northshore serving students in grades 8 thru 12.  Our college-preparatory curriculum provides an atmosphere for intellectual growth in which students are given the opportunity to become independent, self-confident young women who are critical thinkers capable of functioning in today's society and into the future.

While a visit to our website can give you a sense of the SSA community, philosophy and culture, nothing can replace a visit to our campus. We invite students and their parents to schedule a private campus tour, a student visit day or both. Also, we invite you to join us for our Open House on Thursday, November 2nd, from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Registration will open on October 1st.

Meanwhile, be sure to view our virtual tour video. I look forward to welcoming you to our historic campus.  Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Kind Regards,
