Cross Country Team Places Third in LHSAA State Meet

The cross country team was recently named District Champions and placed first at the Northshore Metro Championship Meet the following week, as they prepared for the LHSAA State Championships on November 19th in Natchitoches. The Doves placed third at the State meet with four runners in the top 25. Brooke Naccari was the top runner for SSA, also placing third overall with a time of 19:26.4. Rounding out the state team of seven were Chloe Chehardy (15), Sarah Kate Hendry (21), Maggie Oggs (25), Ellie McHale (40), Claire Berrigan (52) and Ann Margaret Christopher (53).
 
Congratulations to Brooke, Chloe, Sarah Kate, Maggie, Claire, and Ann Margaret for earning All-District honors.
